Dwight Wesley, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 21, 2021, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Dwight was shot and killed in the 6100 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, he was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center shortly after the shooting.
