Darryl Herron, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 2, 2021, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. Herron was sitting in a parked vehicle around 7 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Laflin Street when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking him in the chest.
