On April 7, 2021, Ramonte Randolph, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed at the Best Wash Laundromat located on Camp Jackson Road in Cahokia Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred around 9:23 p.m., when officers from the Cahokia Police Department responded to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Ramonte Randolph lying on the floor, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
