Davion Wright, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. He succumbed to his injuries two days after being shot in a mass shooting in the Lawndale neighborhood. The incident occurred near Douglas Boulevard and Christiana Avenue, where a gunman or gunmen opened fire, resulting in multiple casualties.
