Keon Binion, a 19-year-old African American male from Dolton, Illinois, was tragically killed on August 25, 2021, in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. in an alley located in the 600 block of East 106th Street. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Keon was shot multiple times in the chest and back. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 5:07 p.m.
