In the winter chill of 2009 in Baltimore, Maryland, a young life was tragically cut short. Andre Thorpe, a 17-year-old Black male, was in the 800 block of North Kenwood Avenue on the evening of January 2nd when violence erupted. He was shot in the head in what would become another grim statistic in the city's homicide records.
