On December 19, 2021, a tragic incident occurred in Belvidere, Illinois, resulting in the deaths of Benjamin "Ben" Andrew Hintt, a 7-year-old Caucasian boy, his 5-year-old brother Sebastian, and their father, Andrew Hintt. The bodies of Andrew Hintt and his two sons were discovered inside their residence on Union Avenue. All three victims had been fatally shot, and the Boone County Coroner's Office classified their deaths as homicides.
