Tremaine Wilson, a 15-year-old African American male from Kankakee, Illinois, tragically lost his life on February 17, 2022. Tremaine was at a family residence in the early hours of the morning, asleep on a couch, when a bullet fired from outside the house struck him. The incident occurred in the 300 block of South Harrison Avenue. Tremaine was a sophomore at Kankakee High School, known for his love of basketball and aspirations to become a rapper.
