Devonte Scott, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on February 20, 2022, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. when Devonte was sitting in his car in the 5300 block of South Hermitage Street. A group of individuals approached him and demanded his belongings.
