Darius Sanders, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 8, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, Darius Sanders suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The shooting took place just before 8 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 61st Street. He was immediately transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
