On the morning of April 18, 2022, 84-year-old Hispanic male Jaime Garcia was found deceased from a gunshot wound in his home on the 20000 block of Hickory Hills Road in rural Sterling, Illinois. Born on September 23, 1937, in Monterrey, Mexico, Jaime Garcia was a devout Christian who attended First Baptist Church in Sterling for over five decades.
