Emmanuel Scott, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on May 14, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred inside a home located in the 5700 block of South Indiana Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood. According to reports, Emmanuel was inside the residence around 5:35 p.m. when an unknown assailant fired shots, striking him in the head. He was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
