Kiyasha Truitt, a 21-year-old African American woman, was tragically found shot to death on May 18, 2022, in the Fernwood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the basement bathroom of a residence located in the 200 block of West 105th Street. Kiyasha Truitt was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to her head.
