DeSavion D. Foster, a 19-year-old African American male from Rock Island, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2022. The incident occurred in the afternoon when Rock Island police responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the 1000 block of 15th Street. Upon arrival, officers found DeSavion suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
