Deon Norris, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred late at night on the Near West Side of Chicago. Deon was sitting in a vehicle around 11:45 p.m. when a red car drove by, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire. Deon was struck in the back by the gunfire.
