Death by Force

Edward L. Gholston, a 45-year-old African American male, was found fatally shot on June 24, 2022, in the Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago. Officers discovered him with multiple gunshot wounds in the 10700 block of South Champlain Avenue around 11 p.m. He was subsequently transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed his identity and the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.
