In the summer of 2009, in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, the life of a 64-year-old Black/African American woman named Marcella Lawson was tragically cut short. On the morning of August 2nd, she was found inside a residence in the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle North. She had been fatally shot.
