In the summer of 2009, in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, the life of a 64-year-old Black/African American woman named Marcella Lawson was tragically cut short. On the morning of August 2nd, she was found inside a residence in the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle North. She had been fatally shot.

Emergency services were called to the scene, but upon their arrival, it was determined that Marcella Lawson had succumbed to her injuries at the location. The official cause of her death was ruled ...
