Braylon Walker, a 21-year-old African American male from Rock Island, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on July 22, 2022. The incident occurred around midnight in the 1400 block of 8th Street, where the Rock Island Police Department responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Braylon Walker suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to UnityPoint Trinity Hospital in Rock Island, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
