In the summer of 2009, the life of Marlon Ringgold, a 31-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the night of Friday, August 21, 2009, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Ringgold was in the 2200 block of Jefferson Street when he was fatally shot.
