Shaniya Daniels, a 15-year-old African American girl from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost her life on July 26, 2022. Shaniya was inside her family's home in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood when she was shot in the head. The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Marquette Road.
