Lyniah Bell, a 19-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on December 27, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. Lyniah was a freshman honors student at Michigan State University, home on winter break. She was staying at her boyfriend's apartment in the Chatham neighborhood when the incident occurred.
