Dashawnna Threatt, a 26-year-old African American woman from Chicago, IL, tragically lost her life on October 25, 2022. Dashawnna was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on South DuSable Lake Shore Drive near the Kenwood neighborhood when an unknown assailant opened fire. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m., and she was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
