Roy Lee Sizemore Sr., a 50-year-old white male, was tragically murdered on December 14, 1973, in Walker County, Georgia. Sizemore, who owned a grocery store, was found beaten and shot in the back of his store by his son, Eddie Sizemore. The brutal attack left Sizemore with fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident shocked the local community and led to an intensive investigation by the authorities.
