Auzzie Douglas Sr., a 55-year-old disabled African American man, was tragically murdered on October 14, 1985, in Glynn County, Georgia. On the evening of his death, Auzzie Sr. had visited his son, Auzzie Jr., who lived nearby. He returned home shortly before 8:00 p.m., and his wife, Ruby Douglas, arrived home soon after.
