Anthony Evans, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 16, 1988, in Douglas, Georgia. The incident occurred at a fast food restaurant where Evans was employed. On the night of October 15, 1988, Alphonso Stripling, a cook trainee at the restaurant, decided to rob the establishment.
