Thelma Vinhal, a 35-year-old Brazilian woman, was tragically killed on December 22, 2013, in Marietta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Ivy Ridge Apartments on Bentley Road, where Thelma Vinhal lived. Thelma Vinhal and her 30-year-old boyfriend, Euclides Guinato-Bernardes, were both shot to death by Thelma's ex-boyfriend, 45-year-old Pericles Demoura. The incident was a double murder-suicide, with Demoura taking his own life after killing Vinhal and Guinato-Bernardes.
