On a spring evening in Baltimore, the life of Jonathan Frederick Byrd, a 26-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On May 4, 2010, in the 2100 block of Frederick Avenue, Byrd was shot under circumstances that remain shrouded in mystery.
