A late Friday night in July of 2014 turned tragic in Chamblee, Georgia, when 30-year-old Armando Lopez Perez, a man from Guatemala, was fatally shot. The incident occurred just before midnight on Clairview Drive, where police officers, responding to a call, discovered Perez lying in the roadway. He had sustained two gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation revealed that the male victim was not alone when the shooting took place. A second man, who was related to Perez, was found nearby with a gunshot wound to his leg.
