Justin Acevedo, a 22-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot to death on July 31, 2014, at the Parktown Apartments in Brookhaven, Georgia. The incident occurred around noon, and when police arrived at the scene, they found Acevedo with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Brookhaven Police Department immediately launched an investigation, interviewing witnesses and searching the area for evidence.
