Joshua N. Barkley, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on November 29, 2014, in a shooting incident at a home in southeast Atlanta. Joshua was visiting his father on Richmond Avenue when the incident occurred. According to reports, two or three men knocked on the door and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of Joshua and two other individuals, Ricky Whitlock, 51, and Marcus Gay, 43. Two additional victims were injured but survived the attack.
