Eric Poppell, a 31-year-old male from Thomasville, Georgia, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2015. The incident occurred at the Azalea mobile home park located at 1388 N. Pinetree Blvd. Poppell was fatally shot during an altercation at the residence of his ex-wife, where he was visiting. The confrontation reportedly involved a dispute over the couple's children.
