Camessa Smarr, a 20-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 29, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was shot in the stomach around 9 p.m. on the northwest side of Atlanta, specifically in the 1100 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.
