Shaneku "Lucy" McCurty, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 23, 2015, in Stone Mountain, Georgia. McCurty, a former college athlete and barber, was killed during an attempted carjacking at a Chevron gas station on Redan Road.
