Geoffrey Jones, a 40-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 22, 2015, at his residence on Old Penia Road in Cordele, Georgia. The incident occurred when Jones returned home to find intruders, Christopher Rawls and Harold Brown, who had forced their way into his house. The confrontation led to Jones being shot twice with two different guns. Despite being rushed to Crisp Regional Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
