In the early morning hours of November 22, 2015, Geoffrey Jones, a 40-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in his own home on Old Penia Road in Cordele, Georgia. The violent encounter began when two intruders, later identified as Christopher Rawls and Harold Brown, forced their way into Jones' residence.
