Birmingham police have identified a man shot and killed early Monday morning in Ensley. So far, no suspects have been arrested in the case.
Police say the victim is Paul Hicks, Jr., 31, of Birmingham. Hicks was a local musician who played at many area churches, according to police.
Officers say he was riding in a van that briefly stopped in the 1400 block of Warrior Road around 3:25 a.m. July 20. Another man was driving the van.
