Jerry Wayne Whitten, a 43-year-old white male, was tragically found dead on November 16, 2016, in the parking lot of Springwood Nursery in Evans, Georgia. Whitten, who had been an employee at the nursery for over 16 years, was discovered by his co-workers early in the morning, having suffered two gunshot wounds—one to the neck and one to the side torso.
