On a December morning in 2016, the life of Marlon Green Jr., a 27-year-old African American man, was tragically cut short in his Atlanta, Georgia apartment. The events of December 5th unfolded at the Deerfield Gardens Apartments on Campbellton Road in the southwest part of the city, where a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion.
