A beloved father's trip to see his children ended in tragedy on a busy Georgia highway, leaving a family shattered and a community in search of answers. Gerald Tisdale, a 52-year-old man from Snellville, was a dedicated father to his 9-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter. On the afternoon of March 30, 2017, he was driving his Jeep Cherokee on U.S. 78 in DeKalb County, on his way to see them, when a senseless act of violence cut his life short.
