Frederick Deon Cade, a 44-year-old African American male, was found deceased on August 14, 2017, in Washington, Georgia. The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 1:38 a.m. reporting the incident. Upon arrival, authorities identified the victim as Frederick Deon Cade. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was called in to assist with the investigation, which quickly determined that Cade's death was a homicide.
