Frederick Deon Cade, a 44-year-old African American male, was found deceased on Peachtree Street in Washington, Georgia, on August 14, 2017. The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 1:38 a.m. reporting the incident. Upon arrival, authorities identified the victim and determined that the manner of death was a homicide. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was called in to assist with the investigation.
