On the evening of Halloween in 2017, a dispute at a gas station in Stone Mountain, Georgia, escalated into a fatal encounter for Lawrence Kenneth Allison, a 32-year-old Black male. The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at a Chevron located on the 4700 block of Redan Road, a setting that would become a scene of violence and loss.
