Tracy Lynne Runnels, a 38-year-old white female from Dawsonville, GA, tragically lost her life on April 5, 2018, in a harrowing incident that unfolded in her home. The events leading to her death were part of a murder-suicide orchestrated by Kelley James McDonald Jr., her brother-in-law. McDonald, who had a history of violence and was on the run from law enforcement, tracked down his ex-wife, Kelly Jean Garrison, who was Tracy's sister, to the home in Dawsonville where she was hiding.
