In a quiet apartment in Monroe, Georgia, the life of 68-year-old Linda O. Flint was brought to a tragic and violent end. On a Wednesday afternoon in June 2018, police responded to a call of an armed robbery and shooting at her West Marable Street residence. Upon arrival, officers made a grim discovery; Flint was found on the floor, bleeding profusely from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency personnel rushed her to Piedmont Walton Hospital, but her injuries proved to be fatal, and she was pronounced dead.
The investigation quickly zeroed in on a suspect: 30-year-old Sergio R. Moon. In a heart-wrenching twist, it was revealed that Flint was the great-grandmother of Moon's child. Authorities issued a warrant for Moon's arrest, launching a manhunt and warning the public that he was to be considered armed and dangerous.
