Marc Dimos, a 51-year-old white male from Minerva, Ohio, was found dead on August 28, 2018, in Greensboro, Georgia. The incident occurred at a vacation home located along Lake Oconee, where Dimos was staying with his friend, Chad Haufler. The Greene County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call made by Haufler, who initially reported that he had shot an intruder in his home. However, upon investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was not an intruder but Haufler's friend, Marc Dimos.
