In the early hours of New Year's Day 2019, the life of a promising 17-year-old male from Savannah, Georgia, was tragically cut short. Tyrese Carter, an aspiring rapper known by his stage name 'Honcho Ree,' was shot and killed shortly after performing at a New Year's concert. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on January 2, 2019, in the 2500 block of Bull Street.
