Fred Douglas McKellar, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on April 3, 2019, in Oglethorpe, Georgia. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred late that Wednesday night. The community was deeply affected by the loss, and his funeral service was held on April 13, 2019, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Ideal, Georgia, followed by his burial at Felton Chapel Independent Church cemetery.
