In the spring of 2019, what began as a seemingly amicable conversation outside a fast-food restaurant in Atlanta tragically ended in a double homicide that claimed the life of 37-year-old Denorris Clark, an African American male. On the evening of April 7th, Clark and another man, 43-year-old Steve Sanon, were engaged in conversation with individuals inside a black SUV in the parking lot of a Taco Bell on Ponce de Leon Avenue.
