On Thanksgiving morning in 2019, the quiet of a McDonough, Georgia neighborhood was broken by a grim discovery. Inside a car parked in a cul-de-sac on New Orleans Way, a resident found the bodies of 19-year-old Dahmir Robinson and his 18-year-old girlfriend, Savannah Fulmer. Both had been fatally shot in the head. The couple, who had been in a relationship for three years, were found in a relative's vehicle.
