In the winter of 2019, a dispute over a dog in a Stone Mountain, Georgia, apartment complex tragically cut short the life of 28-year-old Jordan McPherson. The young man, a resident of the complex on South Hairston Road, was attempting to retrieve his dogs, which had gotten loose, when the fatal encounter occurred. It was on December 30th that one of McPherson's friendly dogs approached Rontell Devon Shelton, another resident of the complex.
