Darien Floyd, a 31-year-old African American male from Columbus, GA, tragically lost his life on February 28, 2020. The incident occurred in the East Urban Heights area of Columbus, where Floyd was shot and killed. The Muscogee County Deputy Coroner, Charles Newton, confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
